Tuesday 24th September

10:00-11:00am Programme Welcome and Induction Session (Room 107, First Floor, Digital Technium Building) **Compulsory**

Meet your Programme Director and other key academic staff, who will introduce your programme of study, provide key academic information and direct you to course resources

 

11:00am-12:00pm First Steps Session (Taliesin Lecture Theatre, Taliesin Arts Centre) **Compulsory**

Meet your Student Information and Support Team who will introduce the key IT platforms and systems you’ll need for your studies, outline the academic and welfare support available, and explain further ways to get involved in student life. 

 

12:00-1:30pm Student-Staff Lunch Social (Atrium, Ground Floor, Richard Price Building)

Get together with your acadedmic staff as well as fellow postgraduate taught students from your programme and across the Faculty for a free buffet lunch!

 

2:00-3:15pm Library Induction (Room G36, Ground Floor, Richard Price Building) **Compulsory**

Find out how to access all the help available to you through our Library Services including book loans, study spaces, online resources, referencing, finding academic misconduct advice and more!

 

3:15-4:15pm Researcher Welfare Session (Room 107, First Floor, Digital Technium Building) **Compulsory**

 

4:15-5:00pm CYTREC Suite Tour (CYTREC Suite, Second Floor, Digital Technium Building) **Compulsory**

A tour of the specialised CYTREC Suite led by your Programme Director.

First Steps Session In Welsh

If you would prefer to attend a First Steps session delivered in Welsh, this will take place on Monday 23rd September, 11am-12pm, Keir Hardie Building, Room 431.
